Download Debian

This page has options for downloading and installing Debian 13.2.0, the stable release.

Debian 13.2 was released on November 15th, 2025. Debian 13.0 was initially released on August 9th, 2025. The release included many major changes, described in our press release and the Release Notes.

The Debian 13 life cycle encompasses five years: the initial three years of full Debian support, until August 9th, 2028, and two years of Long Term Support (LTS), until June 30th, 2030. The set of supported architectures is reduced during the LTS term. For more information, please refer to the Security Information webpage and the LTS section of the Debian Wiki.

Download an installation image

A small installation image can be downloaded quickly and should be recorded onto a removable disk. To use this, you will need a machine with an Internet connection.

A larger complete installation image contains more packages, making it easier to install machines without an Internet connection.

Try Debian live before installing

You can try Debian by booting a live system from a CD, DVD or USB key without installing any files to the computer. You can also run the included Calamares Installer. Only available for 64-bit PC. Read more information about this method.
